"The room was spacious and comfortable. The furniture was worn and scarred but serviceable. The property is located downtown, making it convenient but also in an area where it felt unsafe to be out alone after dark. I felt the price was very reasonable for what I received."

"The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. "Booked this motel twice now. Exceptionally clean room and property. The people who own and run the motel are very friendly and helpful. I like that you park your vehicle in front of your room and it’s very affordable to stay here. Very quiet as it’s just outside Port Hope, but all amenities are within a 5-10 minute drive."

"I stayed here for four nights. The room was clean and quiet. Quiet until the fourth day when a woman with a dog occupied the room beside me. She left the dog in the room for three hours and it barked non-stop. So, be prepared to hear your neighbor if you are unfortunate enough to have one who is inconsiderate. Otherwise, for the price, this hotel is worth the stay. There's several places to eat within a two to five minute walk."

"Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again."
