"I don't want to over sell this place because the rooms were rustic ( no shower head but good hot water) The staff was great and friendly, the food was good, the views and hike on the property was fantastic. But it is a rustic place so it is not perfect. For the price it was good and I am glad we stayed here, just don't get your expectations too high for luxury rooms."

"One of the best stays during our 3 week trip in Ecuador. Maybe the best overall. Modern and luxeous lodge in a gorgeous, peaceful landscape with a beautiful view on the forested mountains. Clean rooms, very large comfortable bed (even large enough for me, I am almost 2 meters tall) and lots of big windows to peer outside. Delicious meals and an excellent, very hospitable host. "I honestly choose a resort, but I accidentally choose this area. However, I would recommend for those who are low budget travelers but who are willing to take a break and rest in their amazing hot springs. They do have hiking trail, but it is the best not to go in the midst of rain. You will slip and get yourself all muddy. I learn that that hard way. You can walk around the town, but honestly, there is not too much to see aside from the church and cemenetry.The church had an interestingsaint...

"This lodge is located off the beaten track. It takes about 20 min to get here from Mindo on a narrow dirt road. The accommodation is basic but nice. Staff is small but very attentive. My cabin was spacious with one queen sized bed and three single beds (two of them in a loft). Nature around the lodge is beautiful."

"This is a fantastic hotel. Very peaceful and beautiful, located in the jungle on a hill side next to the river. From the cabins there is a great view over the beautiful garden and tree tops. The river water is clear and perfect for a swim. The service and hospitality is outstanding. "
