Gaido's Seaside Inn

10/10 Excellent

"Our room was clean and very inviting. With all the cars there was no beach view from our 1st floor room. The hot tub was very nice, the pool was very cold but beautiful. Kewpie's garden was very nice and plenty of activities for the teenagers. The breakfast was good, the women who ran the breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and checking in and out was easy. We felt safe letting our teenagers wander around the area with out us. We did not use the housekeeping option and getting more clean towels was super easy. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We will come back again!"

"More communication about the timing of Sunday brunch. I sat there and listened to other guests get told to come back for brunch as breakfast was ending. No one told me that so I had a subpar breakfast - the grits were hard, the eggs cold, there was one piece of bacon. Very disappointing to cost as much as it did. If I was made aware about brunch I would have waited. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. I was supposed to have a Lakeview room but that was a joke! The pool and the staff out there were amazing Kassandra made sure I was taken care of at every turn!"

"The stay was terrible! I arrived and right away I was charged for parking $45 and I was given a dirty room. The cleaning lady was doing the beds while we were waiting inside the room. I then went to the front desk and asked to see if they would provide me with another room. They did, but the sheets were dirty, there were roaches and the floor was dirty. They never went to go take our trash out or to change our sheets. It was horrible! The Internet was not working on the TV. We couldn’t login into Netflix or any other streaming app. My son went to the front desk to complain twice about the Internet, not working and the front desk person told me he would go upstairs to fix the Internet in my room and never went upstairs to fix it. I will not be staying at this hotel again if I decide to go to next year‘s Beach Soccer Tournament horrible! horrible! horrible! place to stay. As I was checking out I asked to be provided with a number to corporate and the front desk told me I could call but not would be done about it. Never again will I stay in this place again. The front desk personnel are rude."

"Overall our 3 nights stay was good. There was one minor incident that happened where we could not get to our floor because of a maintenance issue that caused slight flooding. Nothing of ours or our room we stayed in was affected but it was an inconvenience to sit in lobby for 45 minutes."
