"This Hotel was amazing. On arrival the check in staff was lovely and polite, the rooms looked a bit tired and small but the view was fantastic. The bar was well stocked with great service. The restaurant was brilliant, good menu and amazing food. Breakfast was equally as good. Great selection and great service."

"Very convenient for us in the heart of Maillag, the food at the pub was great, room clean and comfortable, we had to leave very early in the morning to get on the first ferry to Skye and the staff was very attentive to make sure that we had what we liked for our breakfast/lunch to take away with us! They gave us multiple choices and packed it carefully for us leaving it in a refrigerator close to our room so it was effortlessly easy to grab in the morning. We truly loved the place and had an amazing time! I wish we had one more night! Thank you all at Chlachain inn, I’d love to come back one day!"

"Having had quite a difficult journey, the staff at Loch Shiel hotel were utterly superb and went above and beyond for us. Not only were they kind, friendly and so patient but the amenities and room were fantastic. You have not experienced Scottish hospitality until you’ve been to this hotel! Food was delightful and only beaten by their wonderful service. There was a great lively pub down the stairs and the rooms were cosy, clean and so comfy! Couldn’t recommend the Loch Shiel Hotel enough!"

"Lovely hotel/inn to stay at! The staff were excellent and quite helpful - even with our late arrival. Very comfortable room with private bathroom with shower that works well. Breakfast in the morning was quite good! Thanks for the lovely stay!"

"Beautiful room - a comfortable place that feels like a home. Attention to detail was throughout. From the carpet to the ceiling was quality, and extremely clean. The sunny living room was so comfortable. This beautiful little harbor town had the friendliest folks. The only regret, I didn’t book a longer stay. Side note - I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was too nice not to share."
