"Great hotel"

"Love all the rustic decor in the room and about the building. Hot tub & pool were great!"

"Second time staying here. Clean rooms, staff is friendly and helpful. Next to Blauhm Bros which is perfect for a nightcap."

"The room was clean and it had a nice fireplace."

"Good breakfast available! Could be better with more appropriate food and articles but it was a good idea."

"Carol is very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Room and bathroom were clean and bed was comfortable. The front porch and yard were kept nice and inviting. The seasonal Halloween decoration inside the property was outstanding. This was our first time staying in Bed N Breakfast facility so I'd compare with my experiences with Hotels. "Great stay for our Halloween weekend for the parade. Wish they had a vent in the bathroom so after you take a shower it could take out the humidity. Food for breakfast and lunch was really good. Bed were comfortable. Enjoyed our stay."

"Claw foot bathtub was luxurious. Wine in the afternoon was lovely, and breakfast was amazing! Really nice property!!"

"Charming getaway from a hallmark movie"

"Great property!! My go to place every year."

"The weekend breakfast cooked to order is an interesting idea except when you’re not the first ones there. Fortunately there were other things to eat while we waited. Breakfast was pretty good except for the extremely salty sausages."

"It was a very nice experience. Would definitely go back."

"The hotel was great for a small town."

"Clean, quiet, helpful and attentive staff, nice location- away from the chaos of the city but close enough to make an easy trip there or to Galena. The attached Hulihans restaurant and bar is a great touch. Highly recommended!"
