"The laundry doesn’t do shoes Need more variety in the breakfast"

"Nice friendly staff"

"Really good value for money, location is good and staff were very friendly."

"Everything about the hotel is just beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. If I find myself in Zanzibar again, it would be the hotel I would stay in again."

"Lovely stay at the Mizingani Seafront. Extremely helpful and attentive staff, clean/comfortable rooms and a nice quiet pool area"

"Friendly environment. Fine for a night but not long stays."

"Spice Palace Hotel was a great place to stay in Stone Town. The breakfast was better than I expected (omelette served, location was center of Stone Town, staff was very helpful and price was great. My only complaint was that the pool could have been warmer. I would stay here again. Stayed 5 nights."

"Air conditioning work great and the hotel is in a great location"

"Breakfast is great though not buffet. The location is in the middle of stone town and very near to the sea and the night market location. Staff is so friendly. I prefer if the toilet has door instead of a curtain. The room was without telephone but it was very near to the reception desk so it was ok."

"The view overlooking the beach during sunset is breathtaking. The weather was just perfect during end of Aug- beginning of Sep. The place is very well maintained with the staff being always helpful with a smile. When departing, they provided free shuttle to the airport."

"The hotel was full of amazing character and extremely friendly staff. They were super helpful and really elevated our experience. We loved our stay here! Couldn’t recommend it enough!"

"Clean room and friendly staff"

"The resort was very clean and well maintained, there was a peacefulness which you would not get in the more busier resorts. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Only thing I would say is that the dinner service was quite slow, however food was quite good."

"It is nice to stay there."

"Lovely oasis of calm amidst the Zanzibar chaos. Very friendly attentive staff. Would definitely recommend ….."

"Breakfast is horrible. Please improve a little bit. Even mama ntilie Breakfast is better."

"A wonderful stay in the heart of Stone Town! We stayed at Emerson Spice during our trip to Zanzibar and what a fantastic place it is! The hotel is full of character, with beautiful traditional architecture and a real sense of Zanzibar’s history. It’s completely different from your typical hotel, which is exactly what makes it so special. The location is brilliant for exploring Stone Town, with everything within easy walking distance. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, and staying here...

"Low season, terrible breakfast. Neighbour hotel chuini saved this stay with amazing lunch and dinner. Comfty beds. Friendly staff. "

"Good clean room in the heart of Stone Town but away from all the tourist shops and touts. Quiet room with food a/c. Helpful staff."
