1 night solo trip, got a basic room. Checkin was easy enough. I did have to pay the local tax even though I prepaid (it happens with sites like these.) Room was spacious and fit my needs. The one thing that was odd was that the door to the closet is also the bathroom door (sliding) so if you have anything within the pathway (like my suitcase) it wouldn't open the door to the bathroom all of the way. Shower was good, had waterfall, handle, and jet options. Amenities standard for Japanese business hotels. They have water dispensers instead of water bottles. Had breakfast downstairs. Go before 8am. Solid selection of food, plus mentaiko if you want to try a local specialty. Access to Hakata station is via above ground walkway. If you have luggage, go up to the second floor and walk along the walkway next to the bus terminal, it'll be a lot easier. Pleasant stay, no complaints, will consider staying here again if the price is right.
