"Really enjoyed our stay. Found the home to be very authentic and interesting. Lots of space and the outdoor area was wonderful. Clean room, with lots of extras in the room from a Roku TV to wine glasses. Nice host as well, who went out of her way in assisting us with our needs. AC worked excellent during that hot spell. A+!"

"Few properties have an indoor pool and hot tub at this price, so that's a nice perk. Important if you're old and on a multi-day hiking trip. However, the pool is not well maintained. VERY humid in there, locker rooms closed/taped off, like they're actively working on it/doing construction, which was the same when I stayed there a full year ago. Also, I called before booking to ask if it was worth paying extra for the "suite" and was told it has a couch and extra space, so I did pay more for that...

"Great little mountain retreat! The outdoor area is great— pool, hot tubs, sauna and fire pits. They were much enjoyed after a long day of hiking! The staff was friendly and the Shovel Handle Pub had great food and libations. Would love to go back!"

"Check in was easy and everyone was friendly. Once I found my room, I through my bags in the room and immediately left to eat dinner, etc. When I returned I realized our AC barely functioned and we had one lamp working with the worst yellow lightbulb, could barely see anything. However, I did see what I think was dried up pepperoni on the floor. It was obvious they don’t triple check their cleaning. "Loved everything about my stay except for the pillows. They were hard. Bathroom was super tiny but that’s because of the room I had rented which was the last one available for the 2 nights I was there. I would definitely stay again!! Highly recommend!!"

"What a wonderful place to stay near the entrance to the Mt. Washington Auto Road entrance. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms exceptionally clean, and the staff at the front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and wait/bar were all pleasant and did their jobs well. As guests, you felt welcomed and everyone felt like family. We enjoyed the views of the Presidential Range while also enjoying the fire pit and serenity of The Glen House location.
