"Beautifully situated hotel with panoramic views and very kind and helpful staff. A 15 minute walk from a picturesque secluded beach. The two nearest villages are 30-50 minutes away by foot, so having a car would be recommended. Or be prepared to use ride sharing services to get around."

"This family owned hotel is in the heart of Cauterets. The hotel is older and is evident when you walk the stairs and hallways where you can feel the slant in the floors. The room was very large and clean, with older french style furniture and curtains. The bathroom is very modern and had a large soaking tub. Like many French bathrooms, the toilet was in a separate “closet” outside the main bathroom, and although this is a bit odd at least this one had a hand sink inside. The breakfast was...

"A long-established entity with what looks like a basic clientele of spa-using individuals on the older end of the spectrum. We didn’t have an opportunity to ‘take the waters’ but the outdoor pool (32c) looked inviting. Room was small but lovely views. Breakfast looked as though it had been ‘organised’ by anarchists - completely chaotic and vastly overpriced"

"Our host Elisabeth was wonderful. Nothing was too much. Friendly and spoke any great English thankfully which made our stay very positive. The room was great and so was the bathroom and toilet. The bedroom over overlooked the alps. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. The meal that was prepared on arrival (precooked) was delicious prepared and cooked with her own fair hand. "Geweldig hotel, geweldige medewerkers. De aardige dame die ik in de ochtenden trof sprak vloeiend Engels (Gaelic), Frans en maarliefst een paar woorden Nederlands. De lekkere producten bij het ontbijt maakte het verblijf top. Volgende keer zeker terug met mijn vrouw en dan een kamer aan het terras/zwembad."

"I was there for just one night. The staff was very helpful helping me park and accommodating my early checkout (well before any of the staff was set to arrive for the day). It's just a 5 minute walk to the beach and the beautiful castle, with over a dozen restaurants to choose from. The room was small, but it had a cute balcony and was clean and comfortable. The mattress was very firm. There is no elevator, so I had to drag my suitcase up to the third floor using the stairs. Overall a good stay."
