"The room was a great size and very clean! I don’t understand the lack of air conditioning as it was pretty warm when we arrived. When the temperature cooled at night the room temps dropped with the doors (to the balcony) open. The restaurant was fantastic for dinner!
Downside: I’m not positive I’ve slept on a less comfortable bed in a very long time. It was stiff and lumpy.
It’s a cool location for the views of Triberg. Free parking is very limited, though paid indoor was only €6. You can walk...

"Hotel personell had a "ruhetag" which ment no personell but 1 lady available. There is no information about this on the site!! Restaurant and bar were closed because of that and which was one of the facilities I based my booking on. If I would have known this I would have chosen a different hotel. Bathroom was just big enough but the shower cabin very small. I am 1,90 m and weigh about 100 kg and could hardly move inside. Breakfast was ok but not outstanding."
"This is a lovely hotel in the Littenweiler area just east of Freiburg. There is a handy bus right outside the door, that takes you to the tram, which is then an easy ride into the city.
The staff was very helpful, the rooms were nice, and the breakfast was fantastic, with hot dishes as well as cold!"
