We had an issue during the breakfast. They said they offer gluten free bread but it turned out that when we went to the cantine they ran out of it. It seems that other guests which don’t have this special needs where taking gluten-free bread, without any wrong intent, because there weren’t any bread left at some point. This can be a little bit annoying when a person with gluten intolerant needs it. Next time we will warn to the staff to at least reserve part of it. Regarding the stay, everything was perfect.

Room was passable. However, the pillows were very soft and not comfortable. The carpet in the room and corridor was heavily stained. The shower tray was a questionable brown colour (needs a bleach). Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was average but plentiful. The area was rather noisy, but that’s to be expected in a city hotel. Car parking was simple but very expensive. We spent 2 nights here, and would possibly stay again because the price was decent.

Super hotel
Stayed with colleagues for a 3 night business trip. Hotel rooms were comfortable, clean and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful with our requirements for information and organising taxis.

Schön, aber leider mangelt es an der Sauberkeit
Eigentlich ein sehr modernes Haus mit sehr schönen, komfortablen Zimmern und guter Einrichtung (z.B. Fitnessraum). Viele Parkmöglichkeiten am Wochenende (nicht Mo-Fr). Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück, leider jedoch ein grosses Gedränge am Sonntagmorgen. Die grosse Enttäuschung war jedoch die Sauberkeit des Bads. Die Dusche war sehr verdreckt (Wände und Fugen bis auf Kniehöhe wohl noch nie geputzt), was überhaupt nicht zum sonstigen Gesamtbild gepasst hat.

Five Stars All Around!
The room was very modern and spacious. The bathroom was really nice and the toiletries were excellent and provided in pump containers, so they are both eco-friendly and in ample supply. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. We had two floor to ceiling windows that opened from the top to let in fresh air. The windows made the room completely sound proof from outside noise. The front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful as well. The breakfast included was fantastic with lots of hot and cold options, great coffee and long hours of operation. The location is close to the tram lines and close to grocery stores, gas station and restaurants. It was also easy to get food delivery services to the hotel.

Perfect stay for a business trip!
I had a good stay in Hampton by Hilton during my business trip in Freiburg. The staff was really kind and always available to help. Nice room with everything that is needed, except a mini fridge would be useful. Good breakfast!

Good location with decent access to the trams (about 5-6 minute walk to most amenities). Room was clean, and the breakfast was good but busy. Overall, a very pleasant stay. No mini-fridge in the room was a bit disappointing, though.

Okay for a stop. Expensive parking
Hotel was okay for the price paid. The gloves that had to be worn for the buffet because of covid was too much. Also 15 euros per day for parking is excessive for a hotel outside the city centre.

Great hotel and enjoyed our stay!
This hotel was great. A 7 minute walk to the tram and a fairly new hotel. Breakfast was great and the room was awesome. The hotel is located in an area that is being built up, so soon there will be plenty options for food.

The hotel staff was kind and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel was overbooked and we didn’t get the double bed as booked but to separate beds instead. Nevertheless the bed where comfortable and the room had more then enough space.

I really liked the hotel. Very good location. Rooms were also good. Awesome breakfast. There is 24X7 convenience store as well. Walking distance to all restaurants and a famous church. We had booked a car and dropping station was just next to the hotel.

‘Alright‘ stay at Hampton by Hilton in Freiburg
Great hotel in the outskirts of Freiburg. The hotel is clean and stylish with a friendly staff. The hotel is placed 2,5km from the city center with poor options for public transportation, which makes it rather inconvenient for visitors wanting to see Freiburg. Also, if bringing the car one, should be aware that parking in the garage costs 15€!? per day - not included in the price for the stay. Breakfast was great, but badly organized (different due to corona virus)

Very nice hotel
It was a very convenient and nice hotel. 20 minutes walk to the city center. It is located in the new area that is being constructed. It did not bother us at all. Plenty of free parking, excellent breakfast and service. Quiet residential area.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Fantastic breakfast. Staff all very friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend this hotel. It’s only 15 minutes in the tram into town.
