Hotel Romantik di Laluan Wain Franschhoek

"We have a lovely stay. Beautiful garden, fantastic breakfast and service. Ideally located off the Main Street. We would highly recommend"

"The most amazing hotel! Beyond perfect experience. "

"The setting of the hotel is lovely with great views in every direction. The property is more homely than high quality and although the people serving were lovely, it lacked the quality and finesse that we have seen elsewhere in SA eg Lanzerac and Raddisson Cape Town. The service at dinner was warm and welcoming but the foot was ordinary. The rare steak I ordered was medium to well done. I’d suggest the property is due for a refurbishment as in places our room looked tired. Location 5 stars;...

"This place is beautiful and the villa would have been an amazing experience. After check in, we found out that the water in the bathrooms appeared brown-ish. We raised this issue twice with the hotel, and were told that the colour is due to the water coming from the municipal source. There was no filtering in place. The hotel provided drinking water bottles however it ruined the whole experience. We weren’t able to wash after a long day exploring and even properly brush our teeth. Needless to...

"All I can say is wow! We stayed one night in the hotel and it was epic, every attention to detail you could imagine. The staff fell over themselves to be helpful, food was incredible and breakfast in the morning was another level. I wish we had booked for longer but we will be back "

"We had an amazing stay, recommend to anyone! Rooms are fantastic, every little detail thought through. We will be back! "

"Perfect stay"

"Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Letitia welcomed us and the whole team are fantastic. Room was huge and air con great! Pool perfect to cool down and a short walk to the town. Breakfast is plentiful and so quiet and relaxing on the veranda. Look forward to returning. Love love loved it! "

"Fantastic location in a peaceful setting with great views"

"Chapter House was perfect for what we wanted to do In Franschhoek. It was quiet, clean and the staff were very friendly. Well located near the high street too so a very short walk in. Accessible to vineyards too!"

"Service, restaurants are outstanding, food is unique and 5 star. A fun evening"

"Stayed in the hotel in September. The location is great, nice decor, it's brilliant having the steak house attached and the staff were really lovely. I would definitely recommend:)"

"Beautiful, new and spotless room in a great location, within walking distance of everything. The pool was a wonderful bonus, and the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it!"

"Helpful staff"

"We arrived at the property and there was nobody letting us in nor answering the phone. The pool which was the main reason we chose this place was under maintenance."

"Such a great little gem! Sam and her whole team couldn’t have done any more to get my first visit to South Africa off to a great start. The communication before I arrived was superb as well. Such a pretty property and the breakfast options worked for a vegetarian. I highly recommend The Manor!"
