Asara Wine Estate & Hotel

"We were blown away by this beautiful Estate! We were given the most lovely room right in front of the pond. Lots of birds and ducks to watch all evening and morning and beautiful grounds to walk around. The pool was delightful for swimming and our room was huge and bed so comfortable! Staff was totally fabulous. We wish we could have stayed here for longer than one night, but it was a perfect last night to our trip to South Africa and just 30 minutes to get to the airport to fly back home."

"Absolutely stunning Unit!!! There are quite a bit of stairs. The staff were there to assist with carrying luggage to and from the Villa. Staff were helpful and friendly. Communication was constant between reception throughout our stay. Villa was clean and beautifully decorated. The only issue is the dishwasher is placed on top of the washing machine. I am short so i needed help from hubby to fill up. Other than this. The kitchen was well equipped and well designed. The View was absolutely amazing from the balcony. Lake, River and Pool View. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were clean and elegant. A stronger hairdryer would've been helpful. Fragrances all round were stunning!!! We tried out the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious!! Staff were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend to families and couples! We also recommend updating the information on Hotels.com. We were under the impression there was no reception at the property."

"This is a lovely guesthouse just off the main street in Franschhoek. There is a lovely peaceful garden with views of the surrounding hills and a pool. The staff were very helpful and the provided breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend."

"A very special stay, the rooms are so spacious and beautifully designed, the staff are excellent, very personable and go above and beyond, going out of their way to help you with your plans, activities etc. location of the hotel was also excellent, I highly recommend!"

"This hotel was absolutely stunning it was boutique small it sits right next to this beautiful church on Sunday morning I could hear the bells chiming I just loved it. My room was amazing. I had a big king size bed and a private little swimming pool in the back with a patio that was just wonderful. More than anything was the staff… Nelson the manager was just lovely and everyone of those girls from housekeeping to the staff making our breakfast every morning that was outstanding! I can’t wait to come back with my husband and I will absolutely stay here ❤️"

"Beautiful estate and outstanding hospitality. The room was clean and cosy, had a neat little balcony for you to sit outside in the evening. Breakfast was always hearty and generous in portions. There was also a tennis court onsite which we didn’t know about, so that was a good surprise. The estate is on the wine tram line so it’s really easy if u just wanna hop on and off to other places with no trouble. Overall 10/10 Wished we had longer stay!"
