"Great stay. Exquisite property. Just sorry I couldnt stay longer. Everything exceptional except the wait for coffee in the morning, a good 30 min wait which needs serious improvement but otherwise nothing to fault. Great staff. Beautiful calm relaxing space."

"We loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!"

"Lovely property. Central location very walkable for the town. Parking on property. Good water, pressure in the showers and very comfortable beds. A small bottle of champagne to enjoy! The best breakfast of all the bed-and-breakfast we stayed at. We had eggs Florentine. We definitely stay here again."

"Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift. "En fantastisk jätte stor fransk inspirerad lägenhet mitt i Franschhoek centrum. Jättefint utrostad. Poolen är ganska liten och kolla med hotellet i förhand och gör avtal med hänsyn till avhämtningen av nyckel etc."

"Amazing property! Rooms were extremely well prepared. Free bottle of wine and a cheese board upon arrival. Bottles water and a prepared log fire. Breakfast was freshly prepared and served in the terrace overlooking the gardens. I will be returning. "
