"Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. The setting within the Winelands is spectacular and Avondrood was a great jumping off point to explore many estates and...

The property especially lends itself well for weddings or other special gathering event. It is less ideal as a lodging choice, as the rooms are quite vintage, though charming.
