"What an absolute treat! Loved every moment of our stay with a warm welcome and a chat every morning, a treat at bedtime and possibly the friendliest, most helpful staff. Pure South African magic!"

"The setting of the hotel is lovely with great views in every direction. The property is more homely than high quality and although the people serving were lovely, it lacked the quality and finesse that we have seen elsewhere in SA eg Lanzerac and Raddisson Cape Town. The service at dinner was warm and welcoming but the foot was ordinary. The rare steak I ordered was medium to well done. I’d suggest the property is due for a refurbishment as in places our room looked tired. Location 5 stars;...

"Very friendly and helpful staff in an excellent location, minor points a second chair in the room would be useful and the sink is quite small. But overall enjoyable and Peter and Storm are lovely."
