Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. "Clean and comfortable. Great stay, Host was very nice. Rural type of community and towns that is close (just over 50 miles form DC area) Upclose to all the horses."

"The property is very remote, which is not sufficiently described in the ad. By this I mean NO CELL PHONE service within a 10 mile radius. There is NO WIFI service. Totally unsafe for BIPOC travelers and you will not be able to communicate with the outside world. Not as described at all and no accommoadation for the discrepancy between what is advertised and what is actually there"
