My room was directly about the smoking area outside where people were often outside. When I opened a window, thesmell of smoke was sometimes strong. I woke up at night and found a bedbug so stayed up and left early for the airport.

Not far away from the Airport but you pay 30€ to go from the Airport and 30€ to go back, so at the end you better stay within the Airport because even if it's more expensive you end Up paying the same amount and the Airport hotel is better than this one. Also, the restaurant is only available for breakfast, not for lunch nor dinner and the hotel itself isn't so appealing, It lacks comfort

First the good: reception woman was lovely and the room was clean. However… it’s called an airport hotel but it is a 30 euro 15 minute cab ride from the airport… in the original post it said they have an airport shuttle which when we arrived it did not exist so we’re paying almost as much in cabs as we are for the room. When we got to the hotel there were a bunch of men smoking cigarettes giving us stink eye on the stairs, and the whole hotel reeked of cigarettes. The room we were put in had obviously had the door kicked in before and in addition there were no locks on the door so in the morning housekeepers walked right into the room (vs with a chain they would have only been able to open the door a crack). It doesn’t look like a great area so walking to the one restaurant in the area, we felt compelled to be sure to return to the hotel before nightfall. Overall it’s clean but stinky and NOT worth staying at… spend a bit more on a hotel closer to the airport

Go someplace else!
I wish I would have read the reviews before I decided to stay here. Check in was slow and incurred issues when the reception stated I did not pay when I prepaid on the app. Then I discovered they put me in a basement (Keller) room. I said that it was uncomfortable and requested a different room. I had to wait but was placed in a different room. At 10:30pm the manager came to my room angry. He didn’t really speak English, but I know enough German to understand he was demanding to know why I was not in the original room. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. The room was hot, no AC or fan. Then in the morning a cockroach greeted me in the shower. I wish I would’ve gone somewhere else. I will never stay there again.

Is in a dust heat you have got plenty of parking and out the back is a large forest walk to the shops would be about 15 minutes bus stop was about ten minutes away

Convenient for public transport
Did not have breakfast or use the paid airport shuttle service. Hotel is a 10-minute walk from public bus stops for services to the airport and train station. The room was not lockable and there was a faint smell of smoke when using the bathroom extractor fan.

Great, move smoking area a little away
Great stay, only downside was the group smoking right by the entrance, which made the lobby smell of smoke as well. It would be nice if the smoking area could have been a tad away from the door

Bang for your buck! Needed a place to sleep close to the airport and this was perfect. No English tv, but WiFi works great. Super hot shower…definitely nice and towel warmer!

The hotel offered free parking and proximity to the airport. But the property was worn and unclean. Our non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. Mattresses were uncomfortable—low and thin. Pillows were practically non-existent. We had to stuff clothing under the pillows to give them a shape. No safety bar in the exceptionally small shower. We’ve stayed in worse hotels, but not for this price. It’s hard to believe others gave this property a positive rating. Would not recommend or return.

Overall it's a very nice hotel. The breakfast is worth the money. My only gripes are the tv didn't have many channels and they often had pixelation and faded out. The hotel isn't very close to restaurants or stores so a car or bike is a good idea. Plenty of free parking.

we used this hotel as we were flying early in the morning the next day. very comfortable beds, clean they offer breakfast , but we didn't had the time for it. Is close to the airport, not sure if convenient if you're walking as we drove and it took us about 8 minutes to get there. Overall, is a good hotel if you just need a clean, close room where to crash in between flights or connections.

Although this is named the 'Airport Hotel', this is not close to the airport at all, but 10 km away through undeveloped forest and situated in a warehouse/commercial district. There is one Thai fast food restaurant nearby, which we did not use (we also did not use the restaurant inside the hotel, which was closed when we arrived). The room had no air conditioner, which they tried to minimize by leaving the window open, letting in bugs. There was no insulation in the walls or door, so you could hear the smallest noise. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were 1 inch thick. We left 3 hours early the next morning to sit at the airport, since the monitor/TV didn't work and there was basically nothing to do. The taxi cost each way was about 30 euros, so this was not cost-effective at all. We wished we had spent 2 to 3 times as much money just to stay closer to the airport.

sorry for that what you wrote. All Hotels 20km next to airport call airport hotel, it is not the name only our hotel, it is better next time check the hotel how far next to airport. The TV inthe room was not working, if you tell us we can change other room for you.the taxi from hotel costs only €20 one way. If you write an email to us before your arrive , like you wrote the message after check out, we would like to give you more information about hotel. Very sory for your uncomfortable expierence. Miserable
One of the most miserable Hotels I've stayed at in my entire life. I 100% don't recommend it, the general Area is absolutely horrible and depressing. Spend extra and go to a better Hotel, that's what I did. I had booked 2 nights but went to a different Hotel for the 2nd night. The staff seemed nice but didn't speak proper English. I was alone for a Business trip, if you are a family...stay the hell away. Only thing that was good was the Free Parking.

If anyone is looking for a hotel near the Frankfurt airport, I would advise them not to book Moerfelden-Walldorf (also called Airport Hotel Walldorf). We did because it appeared to be the closest one in our price range, and it had shuttle service. No one who works with hotel shuttles at the airport and no one at the information center at Frankfurt Airport had ever heard of it. The info center people, based on the address, decided it had probably changed its name and arranged a cab for us to the hotel at that address. Only it was the wrong hotel and not quite the same address. We walked a mile (according to my Fitbit) in the dark in who-knows-where, pulling our suitcases behind us, and thanks to Google Maps, found the hotel. By then we'd lost a good couple of hours that we could have been sleeping before an early flight. The "shuttle service" turned out to be an arrangement with a taxi company. For the $50 we spent on taxis, we could have found a hotel that actually did have a shuttle and that the locals were aware of. What a nightmare of a last night in Europe!
