The lion symbolizes the heroic French resistance during the Siege of Belfort, a 103-day Prussian assault from December 1870 to February 1871.

"Vraiment un accueil désagrable! Le responsable de l'hotel avait perdu ma réservation (car les mails d'hotel.com allaient dans ses indésirabes... belle gestion...). M'ont laissé 30 min pour arriver alors que j'avais réservé des 16h30, le soir où les eurockéennes venaient d'annuler et où on ne trouvait pas de taxi. Sous peine de ne pas m'ouvrir... "The staff at the hotel was lovely! The room was spacious and clean. The Hotel breakfast buffet was really nice. They had a lot of options to choose from. Locatio is very close to the train station which is very convenient, and it is also a short walk away from the city center. I recommend staying here!"

"The room was small. Bathroom was very compact and had a drainage smell. The bathroom door handle was loose causing a problem getting in and out. The air con was great but when switched off it would rattle intermittently which meant we had an awful night’s sleep. Main door to first floor squeaked causing more disturbance through the night. "
