"Great place to stay if you are exploring Glencoe area. Incredibly kind hosts, great view, and perfect breakfast before heading out for the day. Would recommend this location as it’s close to Glencoe and another town 10minutes away that was awesome for dinner and shopping. We loved it here :)"

"We enjoyed use of kitchen /dining space, which included tea, coffee, and proper dishes and utensils. We could store extra food in the refrigerator. The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking."

"The darling couple who own and run the B&B are extremely delightful. Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The bonus was the view from the property was gorgeous."

"We were promised parking as was written in the review. There was none. ( there were 6 total spots for ENTIRE HOTEL! ) We had to park blocks away and PAY for offsite parking. The directions to the parking were terrible. Not comped for anything for parking or room or a simple apology. We requested again the next morning still nothing. This was the priciest hotel (we paid 350) on our entire journey across Scotland. Would not recommend. Rooms were tiny, THE TINIEST ROOM on our journey. The area was shady as well didn’t feel safe or clean, loved our other stays in our route gave good reviews to others . Glad we only stayed one night, please pick a different hotel. There was one right next to it that looked so much better kept up."
"Hotel staff was amazingly helpful and kind. The beach pods were a unique experience, so well designed and it felt so special to hear the sound of the waves. Great value for money. Definitely recommend!"
"The hotel is a quaint building overlooking the Loch. We had a lake view room which was quite spacious. However, the building is very tired. It took three tries to flush the toilet. There was no hairdryer and teeny tiny shampoo and conditioner bottles. This was different than other hotels in Scotland."
"It was a safe place to stay the night on our way to the Isle of Mull. It was not updated but clean. Lots of stairs which was typical. The staff on site was very helpful."
"Clean enough room and property, Very friendly and helpful staff. They are serious about the breakfast cut off. Make sure to fill up your coffee. Great location. Kind of a mash of style and decor. Would stay again"
"If you’re just looking for beds and a shower, it’s fine. We stayed in a family room that slept six. The beds were comfortable enough. However, the room was stuffy and there is no air conditioning. We tried to open the single window and discovered a lot of knats. So we smashed them and decided not to open the window since there are no screens. They did provide two fans in the room, so we made do with that for the one night we stayed. In the morning we went out to put our bags in the car and there were knats everywhere, like hundreds of thousands of them. And we found out that they bite. They obviously got into the car while we were loading it and we had to try to get them out while we drove away. This is enough to make me never want to visit there again :/"
"We stayed in the 2-bedroom pet-friendly chalet for 4 nights and unfortunately left feeling disappointed given the price paid (£737).
The location is excellent and makes a great base for exploring Fort William, but the accommodation itself felt tired and dated. The WiFi barely worked throughout our stay, meaning Netflix and YouTube were unusable, and the TV channels regularly lost signal.
Several maintenance issues were noticeable, including a wobbly toilet seat, an oven that took much longer than expected to cook food, a dishwasher that barely cleaned dishes, and an old vacuum cleaner that was ineffective.
Cleanliness was also disappointing. We found hairs on the bedding and sofa, and some of the bedding appeared stained and heavily worn.
The chalet was poorly stocked for a 4-night stay. We were only provided with one toilet roll, one bin liner and two dishwasher tablets. The towels supplied were very small and there was no bath mat.
The bedroom layout was impractical, with the wardrobe door unable to fully open because it hit the bed.
The most concerning part of our stay was on the final night when an unknown person walked onto our decking and tried the door at around 1am, then returned and tried again at approximately 2:10am. Thankfully the door was locked, but it left us feeling very uncomfortable.
Finally, a 4pm check-in and 9am check-out significantly reduces the time guests actually have use of the accommodation."
