Ghetto no stay

Very good size motel room , no toilet paper ,bring your own buy some before arriving here. Even the towels n wash clothes dingy and there was no remote controller watch tv. Had people lingering all over the place.

The first room I was given, was full of roaches, so I was given a new room. However the new room had no toilet paper, trash cans of any kind, no TV, and no phone to even call the office. Employee was extremely friendly, we are just too tired to care to ask for them at this point.

This place has changed a lot and I mean for the better. You can tell the owners and staff are making the effort to clean up the place and rid itself of its old reputation. We’re seeing more families staying.And kids out playing. It’s nice. This place for us is like coming home.

Wow, not what we expected.

I would not recommend this hotel. Staff was very nice but the property/rooms are old and grungy. They were nice enough to give us a different room. They advertised free breakfast but didn’t even have coffee! No soap in the rooms or even toilet paper. Please trust me when I say, you should stay somewhere else unless you don’t have a choice.

Very nasty. No garbage can in the room. Roaches were in the kitchen. The desk person was friendly when I arrived. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I didn't complain. I gave them the key and checked out.

This place is unsafe and have rats!! Not MICE .. RATS!! My son and my grandbabies (2 and 3yr) were scheduled to stay the weekend to rest before they headed to Georgia . Upon walking in the room it was decent. My family had picked up a pizza and left a couple of slices and some half eaten crust and fell asleep. Only to be awaken by pounding on the door and it being opened had it not been for the latch only God knows what would’ve happen..As if that wasn’t enough! As my son is keeping watch now after that foolishness !! The pizza box is moving and Lo and behold two RATS are feasting on the leftover pizza!! The lady at the front desk was extremely apologetic and offered to give him another room but WHO was going to remain there after that ! So my son and grands had to sleep in the car until 2pm the next day in order to check into another hotel! I would not recommend this place at all! I will also be consulting with a lawyer!!

A Plead For Management

I have stayed at many Hathornes and this by far has been my worst experience. Now don’t get me wrong the front guy was sincere, friendly, and tried to accommodate my request. So that was a plus. Now let’s get to these accommodations. First, I booked doubles since that was on the site. Well that was a lie they don’t even have double rooms. Next the Penthouse was not in condition for anyone to stay. Overall the room was not clean and my family was very uncomfortable. To the point where it left us stranded at 1am looking for somewhere to lay our heads. Back to the gentleman at the front desk there was no issues with cancelling my rooms as he understood I was not letting my family touch one thing in that room. I’m not bashing just being brutally honest, management needs to get things in condition for guest to stay and take down the false pictures on the site cause they don’t serve breakfast and the rooms are outdated, smelly, and just overall not suitable for the prices.

nightmare hotel

the hotel was falling apart, it was terrible. Everything was broken down, dirty and just awful. Never been in a hotel that was so broken down, dirty and lack maintenance. Even the hotel sign was colorless and broken.

Ok but not the greatest

The whole reason I booked this was because it advertised the breakfast buffet and the pool. We got there and the pool was closed with no water in it, there was no breakfast buffet the microwave didn’t work and we had several crawlies plus the people who were staying there for an extended period were inconsiderate and screaming and fighting over the gazebo both nights
