We stayed for 2 nights, mostly to relax and to bird watch in the area. We stayed in one of the barn suites. The room was very nice and comfortable, and had a homely feel about it. We were the only guests at the time, which made it lovely and quiet. The property is great to walk around with a large lake. Shops and restaurants not too far away in Nottingham road.
A few negatives, the bathroom had a drain smell that was not pleasant. It was probably due to the room not being used for some time. Then the coffee granules provided in the room were the cheapest chicory brand available, and there was no fridge. Small details like this can easily be improved.
Overall this accommodation was comfortable, and at R650/night the value for money was good.
