"I loved everything about this property! The cute little snacks, the staff were SO nice (one even found me a blanket when I got cold). The only thing I disliked is that it is very dark, with no windows looking out, but that's probably just the room I got, as it was last minute. Overall, would highly recommend!"

"Staffs were wonderful.. Hazel and crew. Were very nice.. However: my booked rooms roof was leaking. Second room#5 was the best. The third nights room had smells and had to climb to my sleeping area. Middle of the night had to find my way down to the washroom going steep stairwells…."

"Desde el momento de llegada la atención y trato del personal del hotel fue magnífica. La ubicación es inmejorable lo suficientemente apartado del bullicio para dormir con tranquilidad pero a 10-15 andando de todos los puntos imprescindibles de la ciudad. La piscina proporciona una agradable zona para descansar del calor del día (fuimos a mediados de junio). El desayuno muy completo y cocinado al momento. "

"heart of Valletta. Other reviews were negative about the noise levels. We were on the lowest floor and the soundproofing was excellent. Could barely hear the lively cafes, bars, nightlife. Views from rooftop pool and sun lounge were fantastic."

"Lovely hotel in a very good area of Sliema very close to the ferry. Breakfast is delicious. The hotel is new and everything feels and looks great. I had a Maltese special window in my room which gave it a special touch. I would stay there again. "

"The fortina was just the best, the staff on arrival were the best, informative, polite, courteous and couldn't do enough, the room was fabulous with an amazing view across the harbour to Valletta, the food was amazing, if I was to have any negative points it would be for the hotel not to advertise that it has an out door pool....it doesn't, it has a very small share in an out door pool, that you have to book a slot at the day before. But when you get to the pool you are told which beds you can...
