The Hotel Maren was great. Upon arriving we were greeted by valet and the bags were taken in. We were early so we couldn’t check in right away. We headed to the beach until the room was complete. Our room was amazing with an amazing view. Two things I would say could have been better. 1. You get two chairs and towels for the beach BUT you do not get an umbrella and the umbrella is $30 per day. NO ONE can be at the beach in Florida all day and not get an umbrella. That should be free as well and built into the resort fee. 2. The second day after the cleaning was done we noticed no towel paper was given. We called the desk to have someone bring it up cause we ran out. No one came. The following day they cleaned our room, no toilet paper again. I had to go to the front desk and get it myself. Those were the two things to fix. Besides that the property was great.

I really enjoyed our stay here convenient to all points of interest very close to beach and all restaurants staff were super accommodating and friendly rooms. Were cleaned dayly highly recommend it

Booked an ocean front room. They gave us what they called a partial ocean front room that wasn't even that...it was a walk out view of the pool. Then we had to argue with the front desk clerk who eventually said "I can do it as you're just here 1 nite". Really? Maybe that passes for customer service in Florida but not where I come from. Room was clean but the carpet was pretty thread-bare - Motel-6 quality but not at $400/nite. Lots of questions about Maren.....

Loved everything about this hotel. We were greeted by the nicest, most helpful staff and our room was spacious and clean. The on-site restaurant was great and so was our marina view. Just walk across the street and you have a gorgeous, quiet beach. Shops and great restaurants all within walking distance. Will definitely be back!

Great place to go on Vacation with your family, I have been coming here for four years now. Staff always great and accommodating. Lots of food options around the area. Starbucks is right next door to the hotel, lots of fishing trips and water taxi right across the street .

I don’t understand the 10 out of 10 ratings. Overrated for the price you pay - they can’t even offer you a free proper coffee. Parking rates are overpriced, the pool area is small and overcrowded, but the riviera hotel restaurant is nice and staff is also very nice.

We do offer complimentary coffee in all of our hotel rooms, we also serve in our Riviera restaurant and there is also a Starbucks connected to the hotel as well. Our valet parking rate is 48 per night which is one of the lowest rates on Fort Lauderdale Beach. We hope to "sea" you again soon.

We stayed a 1 plus 3 nights, and had a great experience which big part of it was due to Mr. Javier Ortiz's excellent help at the front office. We had booked our stay through a travel website, and were confused by the terminology of ocean view, oceanfront etc. When I explained to Javier we expected to have full ocean view, and a bed for our 4 years old to sleep on, he kindly gave us the best room possible! Following is the rest to list pro/con: First, pros: Excellent view of Atlantic with a balcony to enjoy . Clean, Large and modern room, with all necessary amenities.Water and coffee replenished on daily basis. Very Freindly valet and bell staff. Specially I remember the bell satff Sean and another gentleman from Long Island NY. Ocean view pool with saltwater, with drinks and food to order by the pool side. Family Freindly. Bo spring break type. Cons: Unannounced construction on the side of hotel caused inconvenience for some guests. The entire beach in front of the hotel was taken by the coutry music event was not announced to the guests in advance nor any compensation was offered by the hotel for this physical and visual inconvenience. Guests had to wal several hunders fee towards North to get access to the beach. Not fair for a pricey hotel that is advertised as on the beach. Tables on the pool side were not cleaned. Few staff by the pool. Ice machine and microwave not available on every floor. Rental bikes, a few, rusty and broken. Bar is limited.

We had an excellent experience which big pat of it was due to help of front desk manager, Mr. Javier Ortiz. We had made the original booking through a travel website, and we were not aware of multiple terms, like ocean view, and ocean front( quiet different). When I explained to gim we had booked exoecting a full ocean view, and our 4 years old with us who needed a bed to sleep on, he helped us with the best room possible! I would like to list all other pros, and possible rooms for improvements as the following: First: pros Stunning view of Atlantic many with balcony. Modern room that are well maintained. Clean rooms with all necessary amenities included. Ocean view ssltwater pool with full bar and food service. Very family Freindly. Valet and bell people are amazing! Sean and anothwr guy from Long Island newyork are two amazing examples. Hotel location is walking distance from many restaurants and hangouts. Some cons: Beach right in front of the hotel was completely occupied by the countey music event. There need to be some advance announcement or sort of compensation for the guests. More cleaning( tables) and pool attendants are required by the pool. Ice machines and microwave are available on certain floors only. They must be available on every floor.

Great stay , all the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The few times we got room service , the food was delicious and was brought up quickly. The pool deck is a beautiful place to watch the sunrise every morning.

We had an ocean front view with a balcony! The room is spacious and opens to the balcony! We enjoyed sitting on the lounge chairs watching the waves! We went during spring break. The area was quieter without all the college students and smelling of alcohol. The hotel staffs were very friendly! Definitely recommended!

Hotel is well kept, rooms are spacious and staff is really nice! Amenities are great, too! I loved the complimentary beach chair, towel and water bottle service at the beach that is just a few steps outside the front door. Plus the 2 bottles of water with each day’s housekeeping service is a nice touch. The city of Ft. Lauderdale has some construction going on right next door and does set up festival stages on parts of the beach near the property but, other than that, the location is great. Easily walkable to plenty of bars, restaurants, water sports and other hotels but you’ll sleep well without the noise of the clubs and partiers nearby.

The property is beautiful and modern. The staff was friendly and very helpful from the front desk, cleaning, restaurants, beach staff to the parking valet. It is close to all the restaurants and shopping at the beach. The hotel's beach area and attendents were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

The music throughout the property did not fit the setting. Not everyone loves country music. Choose something neutral and appropriate for a modern setting. Bar closes too early. The doorman at the front is FABULOUS as is the bartender at the pool, Jen! Other bartenders, maids and front desk staff except for one are great too. Had a little issue in the beginning because we called multiple times before our trip about NOT staying on the construction side of the hotel but they put us there anyway The GM resolved it the next morning and he was great!
