This was a beautiful boutique hotel that surprised us. When we arrived, our Expedia reservation stated that check in time was 3pm. But after waiting about a 1/2 hour, the front desk informed us that check in was at 4pm. Ultimately we did not get into our room until almost 5:30pm. They did wave the parking fee for our troubles, but honestly did not appear to care that we waited almost 2 1/2 hours to check in. Fortunately we hung out at the pool and basically had the patio area to ourselves. We had a suite with 2 bedrooms and the accomodations were great: new furniture, comfortable beds, ample space in our kitchenette, large bathroom. Staff restocked towels, & made the beds one of the 5 days we stayed but other than that, no other requests were filled (We asked for refills of bottled water on no shortage of 5 times and never received any). They had beach wagons that we were able to take to the beach that included chairs, cooler, etc. The walk to the beach was a short 5 minute walk (we went further down the beach where it was more busy). We did not know that the hotel was kosher, so no pork at breakfast, but this wasn't a problem. There were multiple breakfast items to choose from including fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs etc. The pancakes and waffles were fairly dry, but again there were other items that our kids could eat. Again, the decor was beautiful and things were in pristine working order at this hotel. Our only complaint was the front desk staff who did not seem engaged
