Restaurant parfait nous avons tres bien mangé. La chambre nickel avec balcon. Le seul probleme balcon commun avec la chambre d'à côté, nous avions notre chien et la séparation etait cassée. Tres positif lacceptation des chiens.

Three nights in the Jura

The hotel is looking tired and in need of some care. It is positioned on a busy road which is particularly noisy from 6.00am onwards and again in the evening. We booked in for 3 nights and were given a room closest to the road ! This does not encourage us to rebook. The restaurant staff were very good and managed to create a good atmosphere.They also showed some interest in the clients. Our first two meals were very enjoyable (one-of the trout specialities) but unfortunately we were served tough duck for the third 😕. The locality is good for walking.

Charmant petit hôtel. Grande chambre pour 4, très propre avec une terrasse donnant sur un petit torrent. Petit déjeuner buffet bien fourni dans une petite salle très jolie. Nous y reviendrons certainement si nous repassons dans la région.

Toujours un peu gênant de trouver des punaises dans la chambre.... L'hôtel a besoin d'un rafraîchissement au niveau des chambres....gare à la moquette (d'origine?)....par contre très bon acceuil et restauration de qualité

Excellente étape au coeur du Jura. Les chambres sont confortables, et spacieuses. Le personnel est sympa, en toute simplicité. Au diner, ne ratez pas leurs truites !

Very good overnight stop in the Jura Mountains

Did an overnight stop here on the way to Italy. Hotel situated at the side of the road to Geneva beside a stream. Family room for four was absolutely massive and was very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities supplied. Decor a bit dated but typical of the area. Very good evening meal, one of us chose the trout from the adjacent stream and it was lovely, breakfast also good but it is a pity that so many French hotels now choose to use self-service coffee machines instead of making it the old way. Internet a bit slow. Parking available beside hotel. A nice, quiet and isolated stopover, infrequent traffic on main road.

MAGNIFIQUE MAIS DECEVANT

A première vue l'hôtel est beau, les extérieurs sont magnifiques bien que l'hotel soit situé dans un virage...un peu dangereux. Un ancien moulin, une cascade, une très belle vue sur la forêt. Mais une fois arrivée dans la chambre, nous avons été très déçus. En effet, le mobilier n'est pas ancien mais vieux et même pas vieux...il s'agit de récup...la table est en contreplaqué, il n'y a pas de mini bar pour se rafraîchir et seulement 2 cafés pour le séjour.

Accueil très chaleureux. Chambre très propre et les serviettes de bain sentaient excellemment bon ! Nous avons dîner sur place, un régal pour les papilles ! L'isolation sonore pour chambre est parfaite car l'hôtel est au bord de la RN5. Dommage qu'il manque une prise électrique pour la bouilloire.

Détour gourmet par un lieu chargé d'histoire

Très joli point de départ pour de belles ballades. Le décor est un peu suranné mais cadre bien avec l'histoire du lieu et ses vestiges comme le magnifique escalier à vis situé à côté de la cheminée monumentale qui sépare la grande salle de restaurant en deux. Cerise sur le gâteau on y mange délicieusement bien !

Le séjour a été très agréable, par contre au restaurant le handicap mal voyant n'est pas pris en compte. Pour mon épouse mal voyante, on lui a refusé un éclairage complémentaire.

Edge of Jura

Pleasant stay and good location for touring the area. Evening meals enjoyable and professionally served. Breakfast good but disappointed to only have one fruit juice available on three mornings, otherwise good selection of food but cereal does require cold milk which was not available one morning. Easy parking and St Laurent and Champagnole easy to reach, car essential, plus other places of interest if not a walker.

Hotel très bien situé pour randonné aux cascades du hérisson et près des lacs. En plus de l agréable séjour dans cette chambre d hôte possibilité de manger sur place avec très bonne table et très bon vin du jura. La météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la belle terrasse extérieur et du jardin attenant qui avais l air très beau et très agréable. Je conseille fortement cet hôtel ou nous avons été très bien reçu.
