If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. "The room itself was fine, spacious and clean. The staff were lovely, and the bar facilities at the sister ‘Style’ hotel next door was a nice addition. Plenty of parking. However the lack of flexibility with the room heating meant no option to switch it off and it was boiling, even on the lowest setting. so I couldn’t sleep and my dogs drank 2 bowls of water in the night! Opening the window did help as it was -4 outside. I wouldn’t stay again for that reason, but otherwise it’s a good budget...

"Nice for a stop over"

"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...
