"Room was clean, the staff I spoke to was very nice and cheerful, I liked the outdoor kitchen setup. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked very clean and welcoming. I thought some areas could do with a paint touch up, but it didn’t detract. Overall a comfy 3 night stay. Cheers."

"We stayed in Mantra for a week and loved it. A large well decorated apartment with views over the inlet, so close to shops and restaurants, and great facilities for travellers on the go. Equipped kitchen and washing machine were a welcome surprise. It was very peaceful given the central location, and we received a warm welcome on arrival. Unit had a large bed, double sofa bed, kitchen, dining table, large balcony, jacuzzi bath and shower. Parking was provided free in the underground car park....

"We reserved a Spa Suite for $425 USD - upon arrival, the assigned room was tucked in the back corner of the property and was very, very tiny with a large tub on the outside deck - certainly not a room that should be advertised as a "suite". Even worse, the only view from the room/deck was looking at the backside of another building and the air conditioning units for each room. We asked to be moved to another room, but unfortunately, the property was completely booked so they could not move us....

"The rooms (and property) were one step above a hostel. Although the pool and surrounding area appeared relatively clean, the public kitchen area was obviously exposed to the outdoor elements and the rooms were completely stripped down. There were remnants of missing artwork, curtains and many other common elements in the rooms, while spider webs and other insects were prevalent. The bathroom windows were slightly tinted, but with the backlighting in the bathroom, occupants were clearly visible...
