"The hotel was clean! The staff was very professional and helpful! However, the room looked very cheaply renovated. Lots of patched up spots in the ceiling. Bathroom door was several different colors of brown. The carpet needs to be cleaned or removed. There was a slight smell over near the bathroom/fridge/microwave area. The front door entrance absolutely annoying! You have to push the handicapped button or pull/push for it to open instead of having sensors. When you have a lot in your hands...

"Beware there are other hotels much better to choose from!!!! NOT up to Marriott standards. This is such a poorly managed hotel. Have been coming to Williamsburg 28 years. Everyday breakfast items out (different times) , not being refilled, No coffee. Check in rude, sarcastic and condescending, could not wait for shift to end. Furniture damaged, TV stopped working. Stayed 4 nights and housekeeping came in once."

"Two considerations for our choice was the pool and the breakfast offered. The pool was closed during our stay. A nice breakfast buffet was shown on the site, but it, too, was closed during our stay leaving only packaged snack bars and coffee available. Fortunately there was a McDonalds just across the parking lot."

"Great location; 5-6 min drive to stores and downtown. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. Breakfast of good value if one books it before arrival; however is boring, some variation from day to day would be well worth it."
