"Beautiful hotel out in the quiet countryside, very peaceful unless they are having an event ( they do weddings) but these are nice affairs and it’s nice to see how the Spanish do weddings. But after 1100am all quite so well controlled by the hotel. This really is a unique and quite divine hotel, we stayed in the main building with our Dogs but you can stay in one of the eight chalet time apartments they have on the grounds which looked beautiful with fantastic views to all sides. "The room was great. I wish all hotels could learn from the shower cubicle here! The taps weren’t under the shower so you freeze while setting it, a rain shower and a hand held shower head, plenty of space! Bed and pillows were very comfortable and despite being near the airport, I hardly heard the planes! Breakfast choices were very good. There are cafes and bars in the district and an American diner in the garage next door. Shame there wasn’t any food options at the hotel, but not a problem....

"The stay was very nice. Its a clean and well kept hostel/hotel. The rooms where cleaned every day and it was very much spotless. I enjoyed the breakfast: strong good coffee, fresh pressed orange juice and croissants. I even had greek yoghurt some days. There are plenty of small nice restaurants in the town of El Altet, just 1-2 streets up from Hostal Pensimar so food was all around - and a grocery store as well.
