"After having struggled with choosing the right hotel in Basel, we were very glad to have settled on Hotel Spalentor. From the historic and convenient location, to the genial and courteous staff, our first stay in Basel was eminently pleasant. The rooms were clean and the breakfast scrumptious. We also loved our tree-framed view of the Spalentor gate, the clean room, stylish decor, and the thoughtful touches including a postcard signed by the staff, and a complimentary Spalentor rubber duck who will accompany us on future adventures. Sadly we only had one night in Basel this time, but hope to return to Hotel Spalentor soon!"

"If you want a fancy hotel that will charge you a fortune, this is not the place for you. But if you want a hotel that's very well located (5 minutes by bus from the airport), lovely staff, always friendly and happy to help, great food, with easy free public transport to the centre of town, this is your place. We couldn't be happier with our choice of a hotel and I highly recommend it."

"We had a fantastic stay at Maxamillion hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother for them. We had a slight issue with our hot water supplies no big issues, but staff sorted it out for us. Our beds were so comfortable and clean, we had a kitchen in our room with a fridge which was amazing. The hotel is in a great location, outside our hotel is the bridge you can walk over into France. I would Definitely recommend this hotel for friendliness, location, and great staff. I would definitely would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful hospitality "
