"We had a quick one night stay on a family vacation. Great staff and they accommodated an early check in. Beautiful atrium and lobby area. Kids enjoyed the small indoor pool and hot tub. Loved being able to walk right out to the pedestrian mall and shops, restaurants. "

"I choose hotels that have breakfast included. This has it included. When I went to breakfast they said no breakfast because the oven broke. Kind of a funny answer when they did not have juice,bagels or other things that did not require cooking. They had some cereal there and we had to ask for milk and hunt for spoons on our own. In my opinion, no one showed up for work and they used a lame excuse, no apologies or anything. I had a 2 night stay. The second day I had to leave before the breakfast hour so I have no idea if they had breakfast that day. However I went to get coffee to go and it was cold. If you are not having breakfast then don’t advertise that you do. Many of us pick places based on what they provide and when they don’t come through it is upsetting. I took my family to breakfast at a restaurant and spent 60 dollars which I did not plan for. This hotel is doing a disservice to holiday inn’s "

"Excellent front desk staff. First room we were given was gross. Hairs and stains all over the mattress pad, did not look like it had been washed in months. Second room was better, but there was what appeared to be blood on the duvet. Will not stay here again. "

"Very nice location; close to 64, the Martha Jefferson Hospital, and not too far from Downtown Charlottesville. There's a nice walking path with a couple of ponds right by; great for a stroll. They have a small pool and a decent sized hot-tub. I ate and drank at the bar the first night; the Bartender was very kind and the food was good. The bed was really comfortable, so sleeping was easy. The blackout curtains worked really nicely. Will definitely stay there again next time I need to be close to Pantops."

"Our room was fine and breakfast was better than what you usually find, BUT we had requested a "quiet room" upon checking in and were put in a room that adjoined another room where people were loud 2 nights of our 3 night stay - and so loud the second night that we had to call the front desk. We were told that the people in that and another adjoining room were there for a "party".... and when we complained we could hear them talking about knocking on doors to find out who had the nerve to complain about them. Very intimidating, yet the desk seemed unable to do anything. We will not come back! "
