"Hotel pictures online have not been updated to current condition. All room doors are located outside. Gaps under the door which can let bugs in. After checking into our room, my family brought dinner to the room. After about 15 mins our counter and food was covered in ants. Ants were also in the bedroom and bathroom. Made our concern known to the front staff and all we were offered was a refund of the resort fee. Lot of money to pay to stay somewhere that has a bug issue. Will not stay there...

"While Expedia listed our room as “not in main building, canal view”, there was no indication on the map of the property that our room would be in a building across a road with vehicles traveling 55+mph. "I felt like I was charged for valet that I had no choice but to use, the shuttle that is referred to has limited seating so if you use their shuttle you may get left if there is not a return seat for you and it only runs every 2 hours , one pool was shut the entire time I was there. Our room was still being cleaned and we did not arrive until after 5pm. "

"We did not end up staying at this property. On the last day before our arrival, we were informed that we would be moved to a different hotel due to maintenance issues. This was very inconvenient, especially with such short notice. Would have appreciated earlier communication."

"The Blue Flamingo is a great hotel. It has a boutique feel with a nice vibe and energy. The drinks are a little bit overpriced, so happy hour is a MUST. $10 frozen drinks (Pina Colada, Daiquiris) for happy hour (compared to $16 each non happy hour price). The drinks are delicious and are served very cold in plastic cups. They have a nice amount of rum to give them a little ‘kick’. "The accommodations that were offered to us were off property, faced a dirty lot with trash receptacles and smelled like mold and mildew! As soon as we saw our accommodations we asked for compensation, in which they blamed Expedia. Expedia told us that it was up to Parker’s to provide a refund. Upon later questioning partners lied and said that our flight arrived late and we never showed up. Funny how we have pictures dated at the time of our arrival of the horrific conditions. Do not stay here!"

"The unit we got was not what was pictured when booking. It had a nice view and pool. The unit itself was very worn and in need of some TLC. The air conditioning was VERY loud, the beds and couch creaked with every move. The washer seal was full of black mold. Our family agreed it was a nice complex and felt safe but the condition of the rental unit was lacking for what we paid. "
