Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to La Pelosa could be as easy as pie or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some useful travel tips that will help you start your next big adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a comfortable experience if you've got all the right gear. First of all you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare change of clothes and something to read. Secondly, leave space in your hand luggage for your laptop, a charger, any vital medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to bring your passport, travel papers and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Sharp or pointed objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your number one priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose clothing is a sensible choice, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- The result of prolonged periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers during long-haul flights. Reduce the risks by drinking water, keeping your legs and ankles moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
