"This was an amazing find! The room was spacious with a separate dressing area and huge bathroom and spotlessly clean. The staff of this family-run hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The fix-priced menu for dinner was excellent and inexpensive and breakfast was brilliant with scrambled eggs made to order and a wide selection of savoury and sweet items. Great value for money and definitely to be recommended. "

"The property was lovely and well equipped once I got there. However, there is no one to greet you or help you settle in. And it took me a little extra time to find my way through a locked Electric gate. I only got in because another resident was coming through, and I slipped in past them. If you do not know your way or that this is all self service. It is very confusing the lady who finally helped me only reluctantly walked up the steps with me to show me how to get into the Electronic coated gate. It looked like I had to go through another outer locked gate."

"4 minute walk to the train station. Check in is at a different hotel right at the train station. Wait for the staff to walk you over to the room, it’s worth the wait. We tried to find it ourselves and got a bit confused both where the hotel entrance was and what floor our room was on. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were not great but we managed. The safe didn’t work but it wasn’t an issue for us. There is no AC but the 2 fans in the room and a cool September evening made that ok. Overall a good place to stay one night on a trip to or from the Bernina Express. We both were well tested after our stay."
