"The property was very convenient, close to everything. The location of the hotel was great, Newport was 25 minutes away, and the Scarbough Beach was 9 minutes ago. The Front Desk Receptionist was very welcoming, professional and friendly."

"The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to the beach and many restaurants. It would have been nice to have a room safe in our room and a closet. I assume we had one of the smaller rooms that maybe didn't have a closet. For a weekend stay that was fine, but I wouldn't want to stay a week with nowhere to hang up clothes. But all in all, for a short getaway trip, this was perfect and you sure can't beat the view! "

"Over the years we have stayed in almost every fine hotel in Newport. We have made the Castle Hill Inn our regular habit. This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. "We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and so glad we found this adorable inn. Their yummy breakfasts were pleasantly served by the inn keeper, Kim and the Inn accommodated my gluten allergy for breakfast treats. Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the wharf, we basically left our car in their private parking lot and walked everywhere. An added bonus, 4-6pm they served cheese, crackers and wine. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great, warm stay."
