Hotel Dekat First Gold Hotel and Gaming

"It was a really neat historical hotel, that could be called a bed and breakfast. The room was well appointed and very clean. I have never had breakfast served at a dining room tablecloth fine China and silverware before as a complimentary meal! The price was in line with out chain hotels. I would fully recommend staying there when visiting Deadwood."

"Amazingly quiet."

"Love this hotel/resort when traveling through Deadwood, SD! Staff are great and the hotel amenities & Oggie's are fantastic! Only complaint is the loss of money in the casino but I can't blame that one on the hotel."

"We had to move hotels, guest services were able to find us a room to check in early. Enjoyed our stay"

"Teenage daughter said the place was boujee. I appreciated the free valet parking after spending 8 hours behind the wheel. Room was clean. Walked through the casino which also looked clean and nice if you’re into that. We ate at the Wagers restaurant the first night. Noisy sports bar atmosphere but the food was good. We didn’t use the pool or even look at it. The free breakfast was nothing amazing, but did have enough options to get your day started."

"Nice ambiance and recognition of the original mining property it replaced. Didn’t appreciate an additional parking fee when lot was have empty both days and there was free parking across the alley"

"We had a suite which combined the rooms of #5 and 6. Period furnishings that were actually comfortable. The hotel provided a refrigerator, but no microwave or toaster. The drinks at the bar were quite reasonable. This hotel was centrally located to historical sites. Very clean."

"2nd time staying here, will stay here again."

"Room was very maintained had very expensive shower system that made the room. Tv and wifi was available with no lag time. Had daily specials at the restaurant in motel and food was great. casino was clean and well layout with machines to play. Room was quiet for rest even with other people next door."

"Had a wonderful valet who was knowledgeable and helpful...Actually the entire staff at the Mineral palace were very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay in the future!"

"The small room was perfect for an overnight stop. Updated and cozy,"
