"There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

"Lovely modern flat. Clean, tidy and well equipped. Communication from the owner was great from booking to departure. Local shop (5mins walk) and nice pub a short walk (20mins ish) in next village. Easy drive to Harrogate and various walks in Yorkshire Dales."

"Wonderful stay with my friend at our 2 dogs, great facilities if you have dogs and very secure for them. It is worth noting that you can not pull your car directly up to the hut to unpack and pack, but it is only a very short walk. Lots of nice walks and secure places for dogs to have a run off the lead. Wildlife in the area is second to non. We walked into Thirsk from the huts and had a lovely lunch and such a pretty town. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. "

"Hotel was fine. Very central. Room was on the 3rd floor and after reading reviews about the lift not working I was thinking we would need to climb three flights but lift was working. We had a twin room which was fine. Very clean. Room was dimly lit even with bed lights and ceiling light on. Bathroom was clean and quite modern. Nice shower and lovely clean white towels. "Although we only chose a standard room we were surprised just how very small it was for the cost. It was akin to prices in London and especially since we had paid extra for our Labrador too we were tripping over each other and in the bathroom you actually had your arm touching the sink while you were at the toilet! "Had driven past this hotel many times, always thinking it looked nice, so eventually booked, and have to say it was a lovely experience from start to finish. Nice pleasant and attentive staff, the hotel itself is lovely inside, lots of charm and period features, really enjoyed the atmosphere and a great place to spend the evening.
