"We stayed at the Maseria Santa Lucia for several days. Our room was entirely built with tuff stone and very stylishly furnished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The reception gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was very plentiful, coffee variations were served according to our wishes, and the selection of cakes was fantastic. The Maseria has a pool and a spa. Unfortunately, the spa can only be used privately for 1.5 hours for a fee of €100."

"Lovely cave rooms right in the center of it all. The staff was amazingly wonderful, and stayed in contact with us to make sure we arrived with no problems, made a great restaurant recommendation, and overall it was a great stay. "Breakfast was among the best things , very complete and delicious. Is located in the outside of Matera but is better for parking there. You must have a car because if not is not walking distance. Service was ok we had a problem with the air condition which didn’t work and the baby was sweating is a pitty because is a great hotel, they didn’t offer even a change of room or a fan "
