Quiet, pleasant town with good range of restaurants within very easy reach go Geneva and the airport - an excellent, economic alternative to staying in the city.

I know this area well but this is a terrible time to visit as there are major roadwork going on it seems until September. Same for Grand Saconnex close by in Geneva. Unless you need to be in this area I would avoid it. There are other places.
