"I am visiting family in brazil and decided to take a trip here. It came down to two pousadas, this one and Dolphin Hotel. Turns out they were right next to each other. I am so pleased with my choice because of how attentive the staff were. There was always someone around and for every and all questions I had about the island they were willing to share insight on. "Cute and well located inn, with very friendly service. Excellent restaurant (Xica da Silva) and convenience store just down the street. You are quick taxi ride to all beaches so there is no need to rent a buggy. The mattress and pillows were covered in rubber protective casings which was odd. There is no WiFi or cell signal at this pousada or on the island, so be ware of being stuck without internet. All in all, this is a nice bed and breakfast but is too pricey for what you get."
