Hotels near Fernald Preserve

"The public areas are stunning-beautiful architecture and art. However, the rooms are less than stellar. The clerk was very short & rude at check-in when I inquired about parking. We ended up getting a switch on our room immediately after checkout due to a strong mildew smell in the hallway that somehow worsened in our room as well as a dirty toilet. Carpets were very dirty with huge stains, there was no pool contrary to advertizement, & bathrooms were very small and the tub wasnt even wide enough to stand with your feet at shoulder-width. The gentlemen providing bell services were kind. We did not partake in any of the dining nor beverage options while here. Overall, the private areas absolutely did not live up to the Hilton name or what I would expect of the brand. "

"We had a King Suite.... it was very spacious clean & quiet. We were on the 7th floor. We were very happy to find a table fan in the closet, as we always use one at home, as white noise. We enjoyed the pulled pork, chili, hot dogs and tossed salad, during the evening happy hour, and nice variety of eggs, sausage, and yogurt fir breakfast. Coffee was good, too. All staff were friendly and happy to help. Just one minor suggestion.... a notepad to use, in the room, would be nice."

"Good location — very convenient to interstate and circle freeway, so you can get anywhere in the city in about 20 min. Room was basic and clean. Shower was excellent — hot water , easy soap, conditioner dispensers. Good for families as well with swimming pool, etc"
