"This is a charming B&B. It is a gem in a lovely rural mountain setting. The proprietors are warm and welcoming. Breakfast is served in the dining room and not to be missed! We really enjoyed our stay!"

It is undergoing some renovations....Our room had no cover on electrical outlet, fridge froze everything in less than 12 hours, cigarette burns on all furniture and tub, chair was so bad with stains, tears and cig burns, we were afraid to sit on it. I guess you get what you pay for....the room rate was great!!!"

"The room was not like advertised. It was older, not as “fresh” as the pictures. There was no tv for the remote. I was going to call the front desk to let them know but when I picked up the phone, it wasn’t even plugged in to anything. A few of the outlets didn’t work. The sink was slow draining. The front of the fridge was dirty. But the room was mostly clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The lobby was clean. "

"Such a homely welcoming hotel with large sized bedrooms in a quiet location with the benefit of a large indoor swimming pool. Would highly recommend. We had breakfast in the town where there are restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Blowing Rock is a charming town but if you want nightlife Boone is the place."
