"Honestly, one of the worst places I have stayed in a while. Check-in was good and staff were helpful. However, from there it deteriorated quickly. The room was dated and very basic. No grill, no toaster, coffee machine was there but there was moldy coffee left in it. Walls had been repaired in a really poor way in places and the equipment was old and not clean. "Used the Hotel Aquarius as a base for our week, Wed to Wed, in the south of France. The main reason was to watch the rugby on the Saturday. The hotels is clean with a pool. The food and service was great for a 3 star and it even had a pool bar that was open 6 afternoons and night over our stay. The staff coped with our minimalist French and we really enjoyed our stay. As a base it was great, close to the seafront and main bus route into Perpignan. This allowed us to explore Perpignan and get to Collioure, which is a picture postcard town further down the coast. We may be back but that will be dependant on the date of next year's Game. R&L. "

"Highly recommend NYX Hotel. The hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable and practical. Breakfast was also a delight - very tasty homemade food, clearly all made from scratch. This is a family run hotel and they are extremely friendly, welcoming, very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely consider staying here again, thank you!"
