"This property was definitely not ready to reopen. Restaurants were still closed, all pools were not open, elevators NEVER worked in the mornings, we always had to take the stairs up and down to get around the property and back and forth to our room and when it rained there was water everywhere on our room level in the halls. There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about the property. The shows are only on Friday, the pool closed at 3 and 6pm. Everything we did and enjoyed doing was off the property. Staying here was definitely a waste of money and I do not feel I got my money worth and I would not recommend this location to anyone. I am HIGHLY disappointed, feel like I was robbed for my money. Worst all inclusive resort I have even encountered. "

"If you’re looking for a fun but relaxing place to go to Rui Reggae is the place for you. You’re also able to go to the other neighbor hotels that have different vibes. Rui Reggae is by far the best place to vacation. You have 3 different pools, the beach, swim up bars & fun games throughout your stay.The cleanliness of the rooms were excellent & also comes with a balcony. The STAFF was amazing whether you’re at the lobby bar/front desk, the buffet for breakfast, lunch, dinner, entertainment staff EVERYONE! You’ll feel welcomed, entertained & at home. "They will not honor your room choice when booking through 3rd party even when they confirm with you and even if you paid extra. Be prepared to spend money if you want to go anywhere it will be at least $70 one way. The food is so so except the Japanese restaurant which you have to reserve. There are a lot of extra expenses even though it’s all inclusive if you want anything good. They are not good with allergies to foods but they do ask. You basically are going to be very limited on choices. Most of the lobby staff is pleasant and some of the restaurant staff but it is hit or miss. They do not offer food 24 hours so you better not miss meal! Activities are limited in the resort but they will help group shuttles if you book through them. There is absolutely no transportation to and from the airport you have to pay for your own taxis. The massage is good but want to charge $175 for a 1 hour session. I don’t think I would stay here again everyone me met out and about including the locals advised Sandals is much better! "

"Everything was so clean and well-maintained. The staff was super attentive; everyone was so welcoming! I've stayed at many resorts in JA, and I really do not like the food in the all-inclusive, but this one was top tier. My housekeeper, Natoya, was the sweetest since sliced bread. The hotel Manager, Mr. Higgins, is very courteous and welcoming! Overall, 10/10!"
