"Walkable distance to the centre of Falmouth. Loads of free parking when we went. One occasion. we parked on the road a little up hill (2 minutes walk). Its a lovely cottage, I hadn't considered the Victorian steep steps up to the first floor (regarding my 80+ YO mum), but equally might be testing if one had little kids. Other than that, we loved it cheers."

"Very nice property, beautiful views of the beach and lake from the property, nice garden area to sit and relax. Parking for two cars was really helpful. Truro and Falmouth were good places to visit. Trelissick Garden National Trust was also a good place to visit, especially if you are National trust members, the gardens there are beautiful. "

"Absolute delight to stay in this beautiful cottage nested in a peaceful valley so relaxing and tranquil. Karen welcomed us with fresh scones featuring some yummy clotted cream and jam :) Property had everything we needed and more it was very equipped, Karen was an absolute pleasure to speak to she helped us with everything we needed and even gave us a late check out due to no one being booked for the day of our departure which was a huge bonus! :) The bedroom bed was a delight to sleep I had the...

"Pros:
- Location (5min from the beach & lovely pavillion gardens, quiet part of town but still only 10min walk to town centre)
- Friendly staff
Cons:
- The building is very outdated, the carpet is old, floors creak and doors slam in the night
- There was a waste water pipe right next to my window so I could hear every flush from above throughout the day and night
- The view from the window was a flat roof
- The breakfast was basic and old-fashioned (e.g. friend bread in the full breakfast, tinned fruit and cereal)
If it had cost at least £40 less/night this would have been ok but not for the price paid"
"Incredible!! Views were so nice, main room bar/tea room was so well done and relaxing. Breakfast was included, cold and hot options. Rooms are dated, carpeted. Would stay again, especially for this price"
"Clean room, clean shower. Very nonchalant check in and arrival, when nobody was present on reception. Not much info given or direction where the room was.
Shower amazing, bed super comfy."
"Cosy single room in old part of hotel, I was on the top floor - had a fantastic view, may get very hot in the summer as there was no air conditioning and it got a lot of sun. Windows do open though. New bath/shower. Had iron, steamer and ironing board. No mini fridge, but there was a kettle.
The room I had did have very steep stairs to get to top floor - probably not great for medium/ big suitcases, small carry on suitcase was fine for me to carry up.
Breakfast was marvellous, loads of options on buffet/ to order and the staff were very welcoming, attentive and helpful.
Beautiful downstairs reception with comfy couches, board games and a bar.
Pool was excellent. Wish I could have stayed longer, a lovely escape from hectic London."
