"The Rampant horse Had an absolutely fantastic 2 nights stay, staff brilliant the room was excellent and served all our needs. The locals were a lively bunch, and they came in all ages,and made us feel welcome from as soon as we arrived. The Pub was busy especially on Saturday night, as closing time is 2am,if your looking for a quiet weekend away then this aint the pub for you. If your looking for a good time in Fakenham this is your ideal base especially if your a sports fan,with ample car parking behind the property you canny go wrong. Tom Allan Stratford-upon-Avon "

"Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly, the accommodation (2 bed villa with sofa bed) was spacious and clean with plenty of storage. We enjoyed using the pool and games room - great sunset views from here! - and also had a couple of nice meals in the restaurant. We had a fun 20 minute walk to the beach which went past a playing field which my grandchildren were very happy about! We also found another park with goal posts and playground a short walk across the road from the County Club. Parking was a bit tricky at times which was the only downside. "

"We had a suite was large clean had both a kettle and a coffeemaker. Breakfast had a good choice but on our last morning they could have done with at least one more staff as hot food pastries run out and hot drinks machine run out of ingredients. As a dog friendly hotel it could make you more welcome area to eat in the restaurant. Eating a main meal for four adults with a child in a high chair and dog to only have the choice of a very small table in the entrance to the main restaurant is not acceptable. Perhaps they should remove the lovely leather sofas and chairs and put a variety of tables so that people with dogs can seat and eat at a table in comfort and not have other guests queuing round them. "

"Always stop here when in the area quiet country pub with plenty of atmosphere, lovely friendly staff, great food & great chouce of drinks all at great prices. Wonderful breakfast. Price per night is very reasonable. "
