"We spent four nights here while touring Yellowstone National Park. We just had regular rooms but they were generally nice. Ours oddly had a bathroom door that would hit the toilet if opened fully. You could force it past the toilet, but ended up just living with that quirk as there was still plenty of room to enter and exit.
The continental breakfast was really good and had a lot of different items. There was plenty of seating, but it's easy to overlook the second room as it's not right in the area with the food.
The Inn is convenient to downtown and to Yellowstone. We booked here mostly because only a few options were available inside the park at the time of our visit, but ultimately we were glad we chose this location.
We saw the pool and hot tub adjacent to the breakfast area but did not use it.
Staff was great and very helpful. We saw a lot of different faces behind the reception desk.
Overall, the Kelly Inn was a good place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to do so again."
"Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay. Sitting around the mezzanine, looking at the beautiful lodge and admiring how it was built, listening to the piano while having a drink in the evening was a relaxing experience!
The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Of course everything is older, but it was still a good experience.
Only two potentially negative things in my opinion. And they may not be everyone’s opinion so I’m not going to take a star off for them.
First, the scarcity of places to eat. We weren’t there on especially busy weekend. We were there early in May and the roads were barely open. However, all of the restaurants were so full that we ended up just having a burger for dinner, which was disappointing. If you’re going to have a hotel that can hold this many guests, at these prices, better dining options are needed.
I don’t understand the lack of Wi-Fi. We were warned about it, and thought we would be OK without it, but it was stressful. We couldn’t plan our drive home the next day and know how many hours it would take, or communicate with the people watching our house and dogs to make sure everything was OK. I like the idea of returning to a simpler time while in the park, but it’s a little ridiculous to not even have Wi-Fi in the lobby."
Old Faithful Snow Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park
6/10 Okay
"The room was spacious but not functional. You can only use top of the closet. The bottom of closet is closed/wasted space. There's no microwave in the room. There's one microwave in the store by the lobby for everone to use. Since only one, there was always a wait.
The lobby door closes to the paved parking area has stairs, no ramp to take the cart to load luggages.
The expensive rate for the room is not worth it. Next time, we'll stay in West Yellowstone, only 40 minutes away."
"Sneaky floor up above us sink didn't drain barley hot water upstairs bathroom leaked and wet the carpet.spoke to staff and they were like oh well.Stayed in less expensive room in the last month that were 100% better for the expensive price."
