"This is a grand palatial hotel, it’s very beautiful sat right at the top of a large hill. In its day it would have been an amazing place to stay. Now a tad dated but still a lovely place to stay.
All the staff are friendly, very professional and generous. I had a corner room with a small balcony and superb view of lake Varese. My room was big and the bathroom clean.
The only difficult part if you stay a while and plan to eat out (rather than in the grand restaurant) is that there’s no easy way...

"What an absolutely INCREDIBLE stay in the most beautiful hotel in Bellagio!!! The rooms are spacious and clean with breathtaking views of Lake Como. "I normally do not write reviews; but, wanted to for this hotel. It is a small quaint hotel. It actually has a small pool and hot tub with incredible views. It is actually located in Vezio right outside of Varenna. At first, I was concerned about the location from Varenna. However, Rita the proprietor made sure we had transportation from the train station as well as to and from all of our points of interest. We seriously wanted for nothing.
