"Lovely Chambre d’hote in a beautiful building which is strangely in quite a suburban spot (it’s not in the country side). Had dinner which was nice and a very reasonable bottle of champagne. Be prepared to spend time with strangers at pre meal drinks or at dinner. Charles the owner was lovely and hugely accommodating but may consider giving guests more a bit more space to enjoy his lovely home. "

"Firstly, I have to say, this hotel was very inexpensive. The BIG problem though was that their wifi was inoperative. Having work to do, I had to hotspot from my phone and burned through half the hotel price in data charges! Next, this hotel is located in a commercial park, right next door to McDonalds. "The hotel was spotless and the surrounding area was kept very nicely. The receptionist was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Our room was exactly as pictured and the bed was very comfortable so we had a very good nights sleep. I was a little surprised to find that the hotel was on a retail park as it did not seem that from the photos but the double glazing is so good that it was very quiet in the room. "This was my favorite 24 hours out of a 2 week trip to Europe! The Chateau is straight out of a fairy tale. We were greeted by two lovely women who brought us champagne and snacks while getting our room ready. We spent a couple hours in the spa enjoying the sauna, steam room, hot tub, and specialty teas. We walked the property and the few streets around the Chateau before enjoying a lovely dinner. The next morning we headed to Epernay for a fabulous champagne cellar tour at Moët and Chandon. It was perfect!"
